Hello loyal Phil flower pot heads, just a quick update.
The title page for the comic has been the title page for the first comic for too long!
Who wants to see old stuff when everyone knows that newer stuff is better right?

It's back baby! (Issue 05)

It's August now and many many months since the last update and even longer since the gripping and gut wrenching finally of issue 04!

Recap: (Spoilers)
A quick recap for those who have forgotten or can't be bothered to read old chapters:
Phil is a fighter of injustice, he becomes a vigilante, he is then transported to another dimension where he finds out that he is also an alien. He is told that it is his mission to save the entire universe. His best friend in the world Norm is then shot down during a bank robbery, luckily he still has many good friends to keep him company including Briany, Jimmy and Steve. 
Phil then realises that he needs a girlfriend and so does a bit of online dating, unfortunately he is taken hostage by an old school classmate with an obsessive crush! 
After this Phil decides to lay off of women for the time being and heads back to his flat for a well deserved rest, but upon reaching his flat notices that the door is broken, walking inside he meets a man named Emit who claims to be there to destroy him! 
What will happen next? You can finally find out in the next thrilling instalment of How I Saved The Entire Universe!!!!

Hello fellow Phil Flowers fans! Here's an update on the comic.

Issue 03 begins!!!

So Issue 02 of 'How I Saved The Entire Universe' ended and now Issue 03 has begun,

And for those of you who are reading through Issue 03 and feel that it is just not enough to fill your boots, here are some pictures showing off how I managed to create the jolly banker from the opening few pages of the third instalment!

The first picture shows the original drawing of Mr. Banker. The second shows the cleaner line work uploaded into Photoshop. I can't remember why I did the watch and coloured it in in this layer, but I did, so deal with it.... the third picture shows all of the colour that was done on a seperate layer. The fourth picture is his final look, as you can see he is a handsome gent, sporting a smart and banker-ee suit and tanned trousers.

I like this piece even though the pavement in the bottom right looks messed up and weird

This is my favourite panel so far, but there are many yet to come, so who knows, I may just have to upload a new favourite soon!

Earth

In the latest page of How I Saved The Entire Universe (issue 02 page 28)
We see the universe for the first time:

The universe realising just how screwed it is

But as you can't see the planet earth from here because the universe is so massive and the earth is so tiny I thought I'd give you some behind the scenes info on what Phil's earth looks like!

As you can see it's pretty similar in appearance to our own earth, though there is more yellow which I feel gives it a very well rounded touch. This image took roughly six weeks to complete from concept to finished colour piece but I think you'll find it was worth the effort, please enjoy it in all it's splendour.
